Bridging our Differences in Challenging Times
Save the Date:
Carl Rogers 2018 Annual Conference
January 31 - February 3, 2018
San Diego, California
Why is it so difficult?
Why can't we just get along? In these highly partisan, divided times, many of us are questioning why are we having such a difficult time in getting along, in working together. Why is it so hard to:
- Have conversations on topics which are increasingly hot button items such as politics, religion, morality, gay rights, abortion, gender equality?
- Put aside our own prejudices, biases and judgments?
- Reach out to others whose viewpoints are different than ours?
We are so used to our own perceptions, so attached and fond of them, that it is hard for us to accept others' perspectives as equally valid, especially when they seem so false to us, as anyone who has played around with this image young beauty or old crone can attest:
What can I/we do?
Join us in San Diego to search for your personal answer to this critical challenge; to listen, share and explore with others what each of us can do to bridge the gaps that separate us.
