Do I need to be a registered user to use the CSP website?
No, you do not need to be a registered user to use or navigate the CSP website. However, you do need to be a registered user and be logged in to your account when making store purchases. This includes books, dvd's, registering for conferences and workshops...

How do I register with the CSP website?
To register with the website, you will need to click on the register link located at the top of the website.

Upon clicking the register link, this will take you the register page where you can setup an account with the CSP website (http://www.centerfortheperson.org/register). The required fields are marked by a red *. In addition to the required fileds, you will also need to fill-in the security captcha box located at the bottom of the page. We also suggest you enter your address as this will be needed for billing and shipping when purchasing from our site. If you do not enter your address you will need to manually enter this when purchasing items or registering for conferences or workshops in the shipping and billing details. If you have this information in your account, the address will already be filled in for you at check-out. Upon completion of the registration form, you will receive an email with a confirmation link that you will need to click in order to activate your account. Once your account is activated you will also receive an email welcoming you to the CSP website.

How do I login/logout of my account?
At the top of the CSP site, there is a login link. Clicking on this will take take you to the login page where you can login and if you have not previously registered with the site you can register as well (http://www.centerfortheperson.org/login).

Once you are logged in, you will notice the links at the top of the page change. The register link will no longer be displayed, instead you will see your email link displayed. You will now also see a logout link. If you need to make changes or manage your account, you can do so by clicking your email link at the top of the page.

How do I register for Conferences/Workshops?
Center for Studies of the Person offers conferences and workshops that you can register for and attend. Depending on the conference or workshop, there may be some information that we need to collect from you, in this case there will be a registration form you will need to fill out in order to complete your regsitration. The required fields are marked by a red *. These required fields need to be filled out in order to complete your registration form. Once you complete the form, click on the add to cart button and this place the conference/workshop in the shopping cart so you can process payment of the conference/workshop and complete your registration. Once you click the add to cart button, this will automatically take you to the shopping cart (http://www.centerfortheperson.org/cart).

You can also tell if you have items in your shopping cart and can navigate to the the shopping cart by clicking the shopping cart link at the top of the csp site.

If I have a discount code, how do I use this and know that the discount has been applied?
When you are in the shopping cart, you will see a discount code box. You will need to enter the code you have been provided and hit apply for the discount to be applied.

When your discount has been applied, you will see a message that the code has been applied as well as the code used for discount. In addition you will see the amount you are saving, prior to checkout.

 How do I go through the checkout process?
When you are ready to checkout and complete your payment for store products or conference/workshops you can click the checkout button on the shopping cart page and this will take you to the one-page-checkout page (https://www.centerfortheperson.org/onepagecheckout). The checkout is a 4 step process, which includes Billing Address, Payment Method, Payment Information & Confirm Order

Step 1 - Billing Address, this is where the address you entered when you registered for the site is used. If no address was entered when you registered, you will need to manually enter the address.

Step 2 - Payment Method, After clicking the continue button in the previous step, this will take you to the payment method where you can select from credit card or check as your preferred method of payment. * Note if you select the check option, we can't ship your items or finalize your registration until we receive your check and the check has cleared. For faster and instant confirmation, credit card is the best option.

Step 3 - Payment Information, here you will enter your payment information so we can process and complete your purchase.

Step 4 - Confirm Order, upon clicking the continue button you will be taken to the order confirmation where you can you review your order, cost, billing information and discount applied.
